Valter Marques

Valter Marques is a multimedia artist, IT technician and alternative musician born in Santiago, Cabo Verde currently living in Porto, Portugal.

Currently getting a master’s degree on Technologies of Information, communication and Multimedia, Valter is also graduated  in Computer Engineering, he uses the knowledge and informatics way of thinking to better understand and interpret the artistic and technological tools that are needed, just as he uses the artistic creativity to conceive solutions and solve informatic issues.

Highly inclined and influenced by escapist forms of art, his art and creative process frequently wander through the realms of humor, fiction, fantasy, the imaginarium and the romantic melancholy, seeking to explore the many sides of the human mind and the interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships.

Skilled in Audio Editing / Production, Image Editing and Creative Directing, also has a foundation in other areas such as advertisement design, photography, video editing and social media management, so therefore is interested in learning more and digging deeper in any of them that could be needed in a job or collaboration.
